The Colors Of A Kiss Poem by a nobody named maui

The Colors Of A Kiss

Rating: 5.0

Once before I tried to paint
Using all these vivid colors
From cherry red and tangerine
Midnight blue and apple green
This palette has never looked so pretty
It's colors mystifying
I'll pick a hue and paint a picture
Of the kiss I love so dearly.

Will it be a sunny yellow? Maybe,
For this kiss brightens up my day
Or will it be an emerald green
Full of hope as I dream?
A dazzling white seems also fitting
Pure as snow, magical and exciting
Or a sexy black and passionate red
Or wine-colored kisses full of daring.
Then, I glimpse the sapphire sky and sea
And think of you surrounding me,
The very essence of eternity,
A blue kiss that sets me free.

So I picked my brush and poised a stroke
But artistry still can't decide,
What are the colors of a kiss?
They're of shades undefined
A kaleidoscope of sensations,
As bright as life.

There is nothing like a Kiss Maui, to bring out all the colours of the rainbow. I do miss them so very much, but I have my boys to keep me in touch with love and one day, I will get my kiss of love again. I am a very patient woman, cus I have no choice! lol Loved your poem. 10 from Tai
