The Community Stalker (Version Two) Poem by Shelley Wynona Williams

The Community Stalker (Version Two)

The Community Stalker (Version Two)

Remote neural monitoring,
the test of the new age,
the targeted individual,
a victim when hearsay enrage.

Hate can spread quickly
and words circulate the air,
the gossip chain erupts
and causes some to glare.

The community involved
may not have a clue,
but, they are the actions
of the stalker's say and do.

The target walks a path,
doors slam as they go by,
blinds will open or close,
watched by a hidden eye.

Hold back a response
if the target tries to talk,
excuse to follow example
tells the community to mock.

Pictures taken in silence
and the rise up of rude word,
It is an organized stalking
when car horns are heard.

Noises thrown at a target
in a recruited community,
made to feel all alone
even among ones family.

Made fun of by people,
all the laughter and the jokin'
rude comments shouted
that the victims heart be broken.

Beware the hidden stranger,
and the community that stalk,
A 'muse'd by the uprising
in avoidance that I talk.
