The Corrupter - Poem by Cody O'Hara

Hate is the color of smoldering tar
It sizzles and pops like burning bones
It tastes of the blood of fallen foes
It smells of the carrion birds after battle
It looks like the armor of the dark knight
For those wronged by hate sadness falls
