THE COUNTDOWN-20

How about
Entering into the last phase of life
Carrying a couple of diseases
How about moving on
When you doubt yourself
Your will and ability to get on with the game

How about living in a world
Where everybody thinks
You are old and outdated
How to spend time
When people around think that
To spend time with you
Is a complete wastage of time

If you open your mouth
You are wrong
If you do not
You are wrong
Whatever you do or undo
People find fault in you
In your action and inaction
In your ability and inability
In your smile and tear
In your passion and ambition

You are wrong
Because age is not in your side
You are wrong
Coz your ability to earn and deliver is no more
You are wrong
Because someone else
Has taken your place at the centre

With time and tide not in your side
You feel dejected, defeated and resigned to fate
Take shelter in the past
Analyse where you erred
The reason for your present predicament
Whether it is your age, other's expectations,
Inability to perform in a competitive world
Or something else
