THE COUNTDOWN-6
What one misses
Not pelf, power and chair
Security, dignity and flair
But the ambience
Life, its beauty and grace
That is so uncommon anywhere else
What one misses is
The atmosphere of
Love, compassion and camaraderie
Sharing, caring, loving and living
Feeling, understanding, worrying and longing
What one silently misses
Are the touch and concern
Breathing for each other
That has been with one for months and years
How pathetic to miss all these
And find oneself in the abyss.
Not a home
But more than it
With plenty of open spaces
To breathe and live
Feel, work, enjoy and endure
One finds different shades of life
In their true colours.
With the departure
One may miss it
Miss the atmosphere forever.
So difficult to trace
Oneself in the changed scenario
So difficult to find something
As beautiful as one's old love to lean upon.
With very little to act and accomplish
Life may take one to an empty lane
Where one finds none except himself.
