The Course Of Becoming Poem by Ida Faye

The Course Of Becoming

To the sea of longing,
I have drown,
To the mountains of sorrows,
I have fallen,
To the stream of doubts,
I have succumbed,
To the hills of lies,
I have lived.

And when a paucity
Of hidden courage
Was found; and
A ray of nebulous hope
Was perceivable; a
Manifesting intervention
Unfolds what a
Mind could not fathom.

To the sea of satisfaction,
I have engulfed,
To the mountains of bliss,
I have risen,
To the stream of trust,
I have capitulated,
To the hills of truth,
I have dwelled.
