The Court Poem by Febin Thomas

The Court

Behold the justice the witnesses
Stand i convicted of blind anger
Neither support nor lawyers claim
Found its way to me
With heads bowed
Accused of silly great crime
Fight best as i could
With words of defence
But the speech of thunderous roars
With words fists and palms
Fell on my guilty body
The court was one sided
Proved no innocence could i
The glaring eyes that beamed
Forced my eyes to looked down
The laws are unfair
The court is impure
The witnesses bribed for their respect
The judges corrupt and blind
The world is unfair
The elderly is law
