Uncharted Waters Poem by Febin Thomas

Uncharted Waters

Rating: 5.0

Uncharted Waters
The ocean is both taker and giver of life
The surfacial tides hold nothing
Down below are unruly, untold, unmeasured land
In it, dispersed a variety
The variety is devilish
No light troubles for its way
Through this dense fog
And down below the ocean it bears the unwanted
With surplus of pirate wealth tales;
Schools of fish wade through
But sometimes you are deserted
The oceans variety has its dominations and influences
The depth is just a myth to some
For the fear of travelling treacherous lands
The ocean bed is not as it seems
It whips you in;
In this dimension the fittest will survive,
And the weak shall fall;
In this pitch black all seem lost
Except the beaming glaring eyes;
The hours are unknown
The time and tide seems to wait for all;
The depths are oppressive and depressive
As one ascends the mood lightens
All life's worth
Then again it is not the tides on the surface that matters
But, the currents in the depth that matters.
