The Court Of Fury Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

The Court Of Fury

The court where shadows dance and darkness weaves,
A court of fury, where power resides,
Where passion's fire and vengeance intercedes,
A tale of love and strife, where fate abides.

Amidst the splendor, where dreams take flight,
A queen ascends, her beauty unsurpassed,
Her eyes, like stars, ignite the darkest night,
A heart untamed, by love's sweet contrast.

But shadows lurk, in corners veiled from sight,
A treacherous dance, where secrets intertwine,
Betrayal's venom, a poisonous bite,
As loyalties are tested, hearts entwine.

Through trials and tribulations, they must tread,
In this court of fury, where destinies collide,
For love's redemption, they must shed,
The chains that bind, and cast their fears aside.

So let the sonnet sing, of this grand tale,
Of love and fury, in its timeless might,
In realms where shadows dance and darkness veils,
The court of fury, where legends take flight.
