The Crow Poem by Dr. Sada Bihari Sahu

The Crow

The Crow

The beautiful crow comes to my window with caw caw caw
It is black but beautiful
The loud sound makes me wake up
With its caw caw caw
I put some biscuits or bread on the window
Which she loves to eat and moves away with twinkle of eye
Our friendship grows each passing day
Neither she forgets nor I reminded

It is a routine when I hear caw caw caw
I feel sad if did not meet her one day
A place like Mumbai where no body have time to say hello to nearby
I find a good friend who give me a call without fault anyway
Together we feel company of each other
The warm, freshness and happy
A promise to meet again in the morning each day
Among birds she is the smartest
Fear not to leave her one day with rapid urbanization and industrialization
Let the birds, animals and human live together
Without disturbing one another
The beautiful crow comes to my window with caw caw caw
Eagerly waiting her call every day to start my day with joy
