The Cruel Twisted Fate Poem by Nightmist Moonshade

The Cruel Twisted Fate

What we give and take,
We often forsake.
When children cry and loved ones die,
When rage seems to cover the eye.
When will we wipe the hatred from our faces?

When I look into your eyes and see all of whom you despise,
I die inside.
I know every ones contemplated,
But still their rage is escaladed.
Though we try,
They all eventually die.

When you stand in this place and don’t turn your head to face,
To see just what is plaguing the human race,
Soon this cruel twist of fate will be the only thing to relate to you.
And though you try to keep your innocence,
That too, eventually fades away,
Sand floating helplessly from your eyes.

So now you see this eternity of loneliness you have been plagued with,
The tormenting, soul aching never ending myth.
So now try to tell me every thing is okay.
When all through the day I feel as though I may just give up.
