The cruelest torture of mankind
is when you have to bear
the painful consequences
of someone else’s mistakes.
When it’s entirely others’ responsibility,
you take it as yours.
The tears, the scars
here and there on your face.
There’s no comfort, no healing.
When it’s time to fight back,
you hear rumors clarifying
it’s you, it’s you and it’s you
who have to face the torment
of someone else’s mistakes.
You’re helpless hanging in the sky.
You yell, you scream, you cry!
No one is going to save you.
You hung yourself there
letting others to tease you
to humiliate you
but you can say nothing.
Does it mean “fair”?
Does it mean “tolerant”?
If that’s the definition,
that someone else, please listen:
You are the “fairest” creature of mankind,
and I’m the most tolerant!
