The Dark At The End Of The Night



The dark at the end of the night
The hole in the ground
The worms:
This is what I fear
The nothingness that lasts forever
And the disintegration that makes all I am
Smell terribly for a while
And then on and on,
Bones and dust
Dust and dust.

Oh the fear of the ground
And the fear of that nothingness forever-
