The Darkest Nights Poem by SHASHANK MOHORE MOHORE

The Darkest Nights

When it's the darkest of nights,
And I brace myself a bit too tight,
I want to let you know,
That you still exist in my closed eye sight!

I remember the lanes we crossed,
I remember the coins we tossed,
I remember the thoughts we shared,
I remember the music we heard!

And now when all is gone,
There's no one to reveal my thousand thoughts,
And not that I cant, no one can…
Understand the way it was,

For today and every passing day
Its surely not me, but you in me the most!
