The Darkness Poem by Darcy Charles Inwood

The Darkness

The darkness come forth,
And swallow me,
Capture me,
Bind me.

Pathless I continue,
Stumble as if a drunken fellow,
Without direction,
Without value.

My life was void,
Seasonless,
Lifeless,
The opening to the end.
