The Darkside Of Beauty Poem by Jessica Newby

The Darkside Of Beauty

An arched shower of shimmer colours
Leaps joyfully across the landscape,
Playing its soft song of silence.

A cotton pillow dabs the baby blue sky,
In hope of healing, its blackened wound.

Beams of dazzling sunlight
Break through the frosty air;
Penetrating the shadows.
See them flee in panic.
