The Day Poem by Subhadip Bhattacharya

The Day

Now I know a man
Who used to stand in front of a clock,
Looking at the time when
To go to work.
And another one who used to
Tour countries, but all the way
Instead of looking at the landscape
Or the monuments, would
Look at people going to work.

If you don't want to live
You have to wait until you get a job.
Another person said....
If you want to serve people a dinner
You have to be with empty stomach.
To feel the urge.

Look at the photos that I have taken.
You get the whole picture....
Yeah, I get the whole picture.
The background, the enlightenment, the illuminati
...... huh.
It's a joyride.
I am walking here, I am walking here...
And somebody said...
It's so strange right, that
Half a day there is light, and
And then the other half...night.
