The Day The Eagles Cried Poem by Todd McCumsey

The Day The Eagles Cried

On the day the eagles cried
We honor those many who've died,
On that day seven years ago
That tragedy filled the world with woe,
On that day we saw the twin towers burning ember
The day the world will always remember,
During those tragic hours
We saw the planes hit the twin towers,
On the day that 2,975 people died
We will always remember as the day the eagles cried.
