This is a poem just for you
The girl who made my wish come true

The first time I realised I liked you
The first time I got to kiss you
The first night we spent together
The first night we made love
These are memories that will last forever.

When I wrote our initials on our tree in Everetts Park
It was to show that I love you babe with all my heart.

The night before the air show we went down the north denes
Hoping to see a shooting star and wishing about the girl of my dreams

We sat on the wall gazing at the shooting stars
Wondering what it would be like looking down at earth from mars

When I see that twinkle in your beautiful eyes
It’s clear my love for you I can’t disguise

You told me that Saturday night that you wanted to give it a go
I was delighted and speechless you made me really happy you know

Your gorgeous, kind thoughtful and pretty smart 
These are some of the traits that captured my heart

When you read this I know you will go shy
Especially when you look up and see me gazing lovingly in to your eyes

I’ve never been this happy since I don’t know when
If there was the best year of my life award it would go to 2010

Now we are both on the bed in Skegness
I know this holiday will definatly be one of the best
