The Day You Told Me (In Letter Form) - Poem by Marianne Huntley

To one of my best friends
(you know who you are) ,

The day you told me
what was happening
I went home and cried...
This isn't something that
should happen to a normal
teenager like you...

The day you told me
what they were doing to you
I went home and cried...
This is something I wish
wouldn't happen to you...

The day you told me
how this was effecting you
I went home and cried
and cried because you are
one of my bestest best friends
and I care about them alot
especially you...

I hope nothing will ever
happen to you...
your friend forever no matter what,
Banana
