The Death Subject Poem by Lawrence Kojo Ahenkora

The Death Subject

what a dreadful subject

a pale horse egressed

death was it rider

now there's a fallen human

the earth took the body

the soul was drained

wondering in nirvana

coffin's closed

music's muted

mourners sobering

corpse's in suits

but death

can't be a suitable subject
