The Devastated Poem by alex dim

The Devastated

Slowly they flee, vanished away
like how the sun leaves without guilt everyday
I know, leaves fall and run dry
but why do I bother to worry and cry?

I heard the song once harmonized
slowly then it was hard to be recognized
the lights flicker ready to die
as i wander down here staring up at that sky.

Feisty days, eerie feelings
Melancholic hours cry yet nobody is hearing
Mendacity rules in those poker eyes
They'll never leave 'till they see me die.

I am the devastated one here somewhere,
I feel alone but then nobody cares,
My presence ain't worthy for anybody
Well, I guess, this life for me is not easy.
