The Diamond Ring :) Poem by Vinay Vernekar

I woke up in the morning
I could not see the sun
But the scene which I could see
Watching it was great fun.

I went out in the garden
The grass was covered with dew
I looked up in the sky
And I could see something new.

The sun & moon with each other were playing
The moon raced ahead and spread darkness all over
Then the moon moved aside
And left me wondering
With the God’s most beautiful offering
For a moment I was bedazzled
As to whether I was seeing the Sun or A Diamond Ring.

Moments passed by
Everything came back to usual
But those few moments left me delighted
As I had discovered something new in this world.
