I had a dream,
Yet it was not all a dream.
The bright Sun was extinguished,
And stars did wander darkly
In the eternal space.
Rayless, and pathless,
As the icy earth swung blind.
Blackening in the moonless air.
More came, and went,
And came and brought no day.
As men lost thier passions in the tread.
All Earth was but one thought,
And that was Death.
