The Drifting Poem by Mona Lisa Aspiras

The Drifting

The world turns and we are a part of it.
Seasons pass
Tide ebbs and flows
Man is born, lives, and dies.

The world turns and we are a part of it.
My heart is your heart.
Won't you take it?
My soul belongs to you.
My heart beats as One,
In All, in the Universe,
This Beat echoing throughout.

The world turns and we are a part of it.
Life comes and goes.
They say Life is Short.
They say You Only Live Once.
But I say,
The World Turns and We Are a Part of It.
