The Drive Poem by Jesse Thomas

The Drive

Rating: 0.5

When the summer's coming
The drive beckons
Through the countryside
Windows down
Warm breeze

The drive calms
Soothes my frazzled nerves
Brings me serenity
As my cares blow out the windows
Gone with the wind

The drive is best
When I am alone
With music loud
I sing along
I love the drive
