The Earth Shall Breathe Again. Poem by Michael Cochrane

The Earth Shall Breathe Again.

I have watched a poor man break bread in two to share it for a stranger.
And see a rich man sit in a house of many rooms, that has such abundance of wealth and prosperity.
He cannot find the door to open that love can enter.
In this world of wars and poverty and famine.
Prayers are offered in hope over the centuries against the darkness by candles of hope burning bright.
Give us strength to make things better Lord.
Let kindness be our chosen way its our strength and not a weakness.
Open our hearts to others and we will eventually bring the light to all corners of the world.
Let the Earth breathe again!
