To you, the stronger sex I willingly give my heart,
There was no battle of wits I was vanquished from the start.
No advancement on your behalf was needed,
At the very first sight of you, my entirety was deeded.
Your words, your style, your look from afar,
Conquered me so swiftly, I dared not attempt to spar.
You came unexpectedly like a breeze from above,
I surrendered my heart to you in the name of true love.
In the days of my youth, nothing was worth as much,
With age, my frigid disposition was melted by your touch.
So, when you hear the bells just remember one thing,
My resounding love for you will forever echo from this ring.
