Upon the stage of governance, aloft they seem to sit, The politicians with their thrones, in power's grand outfit. We cast our votes, our voices heard, in hope of honest steer, Yet find ourselves beneath their gaze, the truth becomes quite clear.
The seats of those we elevate, by ballots' silent cheer, Are perched upon our trust and faith, on promises so dear. But lo! The twist in this grand play, a plot so sly and sheer, Their lofty chairs, though skyward aimed, rest on our tier.
And yet, within this theater of governance, a shadow falls unseen, The artful dance of smoke and mirrors, where truth and lies convene. Their speeches, honeyed and rehearsed, like spells to cast a spell, Obscure the path to clarity, where common sense should dwell.
For every promise made in haste, a thousand doubts arise, And every pledge of service rendered, veils the truth with lies. Their seats, though perched on pedestals, are built on shifting sand, And we, the audience, watch in awe, as they weave their grand command.
But let us not be fooled, my friends, by eloquence or guise, For underneath the polished words, deceitful currents rise. The seats they claim, with velvet backs, are borrowed from our trust, And if we lift the veil of pretense, we'll find the strings they thrust.
So view their lofty thrones with eyes unclouded, minds awake, And recognize the artifice, the masquerade they make. For true respect is not bestowed by titles or by fame, But earned by deeds, by empathy, by hearts that bear no shame.
As Bello Hall's election dawns with the rising sun,
A call to all, to weigh the hearts of those who run.
Let not the past's deceit sway your hand tomorrow,
For in your vote lies hope, not the shadow of sorrow.
Choose the one who stands for truth, for honor bright,
Whose deeds align with words, who champions the light.
In every ballot cast, let integrity resonate,
And may Bello Hall flourish, with leaders truly great.
