The Enemy Wears A Business Suit Poem by Mwanga Mwiya Jr

The Enemy Wears A Business Suit

The oppressor does not own a cotton plantation on the western side of the meridian line

The oppressor does not opress on the basis of color, because your skin color does not cost a dime

He does not deceive you into his deadly vessel to sail across the width of the Atlantic

Today his ship effortlessly sails across the delusion of seven billion souls
Never static
The propellers are gigantic

Where is the queue of terrified labourers?

Well here is a maltitude of educated villagers

Where is the master, where is his whip and his laughter?

Here he is, in your parliament, a puppet house, he is the puppet master

Who cares to oppose the system?

Who cares to defend the victim?

The enemy does not wear a white klan robe and a hood

He controls your source of sustenance, your expression of thought
Your mental and emotional intelligence and independence

He incacerates you with false knowledge
And he does not wear a white klan robe and a hood

The enemy wears a nice tie

He wears a business suit

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The truth finds itself masked behind innumerable theories with agendas know mostly only by the authors, yet still we can all agree on one fact; A system does exists, and that system controls every aspect of our world. From the core foundation of a failing political government, to a suicidal teenager in a dysfunctional home🏠. The plot is real and the plot is big, so I thought to write this book consisting of different poems in which I share my sentiments on the matter. I hope you like it!
