The Escape Poem by Meenakshi Ramchandani

The Escape

Little dreams, little lives.
So much to say,
So much to hide.
Little do I know,
To whom to say,
From whom to hide.
Between laughters and giggles,
There is a small world, that thrives.
Through the closed minds,
Through the hollow souls,
Through the fearful, yet caring lines.
Lines that surround me,
Lines that persuade me,
Yet stop me to thrive.
How am I supposed to blossom?
When it is so hard to decide,
Between what is wrong, and what is right.
Between who is wrong, and who is right.
Bigger dreams, bigger lives.
Still so much to say,
And still so much to hide.
