The Escape Poem by Becca Diolosa

The Escape

emotions take over
like giant ocean waves
wishing there are such things
as speical happiness potions

praying to get a perfect escape
staring at the Atlantic Sea landscape
seeing the sea gulls dissapearing in the background
as far as i can see past the rays of the sunsets sun

later on knowin theres a price to pay
after these great feelings take place
ill see a mean looking face looking down at me
ill wind up with a frown once again

but im caught in this moment
i bought a disposable camera to capture
the place i saw was heaven
no ones going to fight me for this moment
im lost in this last memory
its my escape
