The Eye Of The World Poem by Ojeikpo Elijah

The Eye Of The World

The eye of the world, mysterious and wise,
In your gaze, all secrets are revealed,
From your depths, the truth never lies.

Your sight, a vast universe unsealed,
You see all that is, was, and will be,
The past, the present, and the future too.

Your vision, unclouded and free,
Illuminates the world in a vibrant hue,
From the highest mountains to the deepest seas,
You reign spread like a wildfire.

Your all-seeing eye never misses a beat,
In your reflection, all beauty agrees,
And in your observation, all hearts meet.

The eye of the world,
A symbol of hope,
In your watchful gaze,
Humanity can cope.
