The Eyes Poem by kharon march

The Eyes

Your eyes are what I gaze into when I seek the truth yet yours are shallow they lack depth I clench my chest and hold my breath as my body shutters from the emptiness of another. Your eyes they are devoid of human consciousness cold and desolate were those eyes unfit to retain life's true prize. Those eyes they disregard what others may advise arrogance proceeds them time has shown them unwise.Im tired of the deception I'm tired of the lies. I pray that in the end those eyes aren't your demise. I can't stop loving you regardless of countless tries I can't stop caring about you despite those indignant eyes.
