The Fading Star. Poem by Tez Dol

The Fading Star.

Rating: 5.0

I still remember the coldness.
It was a very gloomy winter.
The grasses been vanished.
The earth been frozen.
And the revers been iced.
The home, yes the home,
I can't fell the warmth anymore.
And there he was lying,
So lean and pale.
He had always been so strong.
And he was a man of pride.
Yes, He was my pride.
He never wanted to do anything,
His embrace could send me to the moon.
He was my star.
That light up my world.
But His glimmers were fleeing,
And slowly it faded away from my world.
He took my soul away.
I never could witness his wrinkles.
And he could never witness my growth.
Oh God! It hurts the hell out of me.
They said he chose another path.
Where there is always peace.
I wished it was a dream.
I wished I could never grow,
So that he would have never left.
My whole world became dim.
And my star was faded.
I couldn't find the beam.
He faded away from me forever.
And I lost my entire world.
I was so lost and helpless.
That bygone incident,
It still rotates around my head.
I could clearly remember his smile.
The smile that imprints across my heart.
It was so weak yet warm.
That I would protect it at any cost.
With that he was gone forever.
Oh God! You have no idea how much I do miss him.
And I still  could miss him thousand more years.
If I were given another chance,
I would still choose to be his daughter.
Daddy! Wish you are happy somewhere.
Choose to live longer.
You were a great person.
Hope you still are.
