The Fallen Poem by Ami Joshi

The Fallen

Her waves trembled,
Trembled with a kiss,
The kiss of breeze...

She roared,
Roared with his wet dew,
A wet dew,
To send her memories,
Memories to the blue sky...

She shimmered,
Shimmered with the sun's lullaby...

She left words,
Words unheard.
Unheard,
Buried in the sea...

In the sea,
The shell sighs,
Sighs softly her sorrows,
Her sorrows with a drop of tear...

Ami, some nice images here though your ESL(?) issues weaken the poem (a drop of tear?) You should read lots of good contemporary poetry in English (Mary Oliver) if you want to improve as a poet. And what is a verse paragraph? Never heard of it. If you'd like, check out my new website: jeffersoncarterverse.com Let me know how you like it. Yrs, JC
