There are dreams in my eyes
Mixed with a tear
With hope in my heart
Full of fear

The sun will set
And with the last of its rays
We will leave this place
To find our ways

Today,
I find my new way
I don’t know what to feel
As my emotions lay astray

Leaving the sea of known faces
With and without names
Out in the world where
Each face seems the same

My heart cries out loud
And my lips hold a smile
As my feet take me away
To everlasting exile

Today,
I find my new way
With hopes for tomorrow
And tears for yesterday
