The Farewell Song Poem by sunil nair

Farewell said the sunshine,
the sky was left alone.
In search of endless love,
he sang in a tragic tone.

The moonlight is fading away,
and there fades your wonderful song.
Your footprints on the sand,
are the only friends around.

Just like a passing thought,
you were wiped away from my mind.
Like a long forgotten dream,
which, one can never find.
