The Fears Poem by Ashley Akari

The Fears

Remember, old one, you could never keep
Alive the dreams of a distant sleep.

A love is lost, joy walks with pain;
So christen your failure with a softer name,

Exorcise the ghost and never give
Life to the life you were born to live.
