The Final Blow Poem by Christian Jude Iankefvozuqx Tan Limpangog

The Final Blow

Hey I’m here to say hello
Knocking twice on your door
Beseeching to start brand new
But inconsolably where are you
Just sitting lenient on the couch
Like nothings so special about us.

Now I’m wobbling and drifting
No chance to settle down
I lay the cards but empty inside
Yes I’m so hoping for you
But I know it’s gonna be over soon
I won’t cry, so I’ll better leave.

This is it, I’ll go like a ghost
Curtains down, it’s the final blow
You knock my heart down
Broken and bleeding for what you’ve done
My heart is bruise, you got no heart at all
Perhaps a punch on your face will make you realize
How much you’ve cause my life to halt…
