The Fire That Burns Within Poem by Yohan Confectioner

The Fire That Burns Within

Disrupt all that's external
Disengage its chords
Disarrange the neat cubes
Distort the hand me down figures
Warp the thoughts of wrapped ecstasy
Deform the blue canvas.

The fury of night is now upon me,
The emptiness of being lonely
Thrusts itself into the deep crevice
Of body and soul.

Rage rises from the ashes,
Of love that is lost
And the fire that burns is
The fire of you
And just you.
