The Flower And The Tower - Poem by brooke cabor

The Flower and The Tower

The beautiful flower
Took days to find
The great big tower
Stood taller than its kind
The tower has all the power
But the flower shined
As the flower had an encounter
With the tower, it became blind
All because of the tower
Alas the flower had no spine

Beautiful train of thoughts, well articulated, superbly encapsulated and nicely penned in poetic diction. I like the rhyme scheme of the poem and the poet's conviction. Lack of confidence in oneself is an integral part of inferiority complex. Thanks for sharing and kudos for the lovely piece of poetry. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply
