The Follower's Dream Poem by Jacob McCurdy

The Follower's Dream

Show me a way
A way out of here
A place free of fear.
Lay me down in Elysium fields of green
Where soft blue skies hang above
Where dreams are not held dear
For life here, is but a dream unto others
But here, they provide a soul of strife
A soul for preconceived trials
Of which we must prevail.
And prove our love, our faith
In this ghastly place
Until, one day, we can rest in your grace
