RIC S. BASTASA

The Forbidden You - Poem by RIC S. BASTASA

let me live for another hour
allow me
to take a bite of something
forbidden

you
how beautiful
my planets revolve
around you
sun

just a bite of this
cake of lust
allow me
let me live after this

a lifetime of regret....

am i prepared
for a series
of short deaths?
