The Forgotten Warrior Poem by Michael 'MidEvil' Lutz

The Forgotten Warrior

When the warrior is wounded in battle, they become heroes.

When the warrior suffers the afflictions that follow, they are loved and supported.

But alas is the warrior who is unable to return to the fight, for they are as quickly forgotten as they were once praised.

But do not fret my good warrior, for your day of justice shall one day come.
