The Fragile Star Will Disappear Poem by Aleksandra Polyakova

The Fragile Star Will Disappear

Rating: 5.0

The fragile star will disappear,
Will pour hands with its pollen,
In the backyard of the world will sprout
Seeds of grass sorrow.
Small boys will run on it,
Not at all hearing its space sounds
And laughing in unfamiliar languages.
I remember the quiet work
In the honey velvet glow
Words floundering in poems,
Born among the planets,
I was immersed in long happiness
When I wrote about you
Much more than when
I wrote to you.
