The Fringe Of Life Poem by Zainab Oluwafunbi Daud

The Fringe Of Life

Rating: 1.0

Life is like a dream that's
full of sad-joy that leaks.
The
Life is crazy & unpredictable,
At times, it laughs without why
And at times, it cries black ocean.

Life is a privilege.
Like a rare rose
that walks man in the midst of thorns —
Piercing their souls with the weird woes.

Life is so busy with its people.
Life lies on the ticking clock's bed
Ready to seduce man and drain his better part.

All that glitter are not gold
Thus, fall not in the Fringe of life;
Full of agony at the end of the race.

Alas! Attach not importance to life
For it beholds not water in its basket belly
And forget not to say goodbye — to life
Under the shade of mutual relief
That holds nothing for you, than death.
