The G.O.P. Poem by Ann Webb

Republicans have a grand plan.
The problem with it is, its savage.
And we Americans understand-
We're collateral damage.
Their plan says Unions have to go.
Tea Party supporters are their key.
The poor-losers, the middle class-no.
None matter for the G.O.P.
Grover made them sign a short note.
No new taxes forever it said
Even if treasuries will not float.
Even if Medicare is dead.
Their major goal we can see is
(This has been wholeheartedly stated)
To kill Obama's Presidency.
And have Democrats berated.
Yes, Republicans will beat their drum-
Cut spending, let the nation fall.
Voters must look at what's to come
And vote for those who care for all.
