' The Game Of Life....' Poem by Shondrika Anderson Williams

Life is like a card game, some of the hands you're dealt are a ninety percent win.
Then there's the other ten percent chance of losing everything.
Knowing what you have after so many hands of winning is valued much.
You must and should know when to throw in the cards and say, it was fun, but I'm happy with what I have and walk away knowing your greatest value wasn't lost or jeopardized for anyone else to touch.
In life we must do just the exact same.
Know when enough is enough and walk away a winner with winnings of great value that no one else can claim.
The game of life is tricky, so don't play too long.
Before you end up with nothing and realize when it's too late where you went wrong.
