The Game, The Act, The Lie Poem by dymon sidebottom

The Game, The Act, The Lie

He tells me the game.
He tells me the act.
He tells me the lie.
And it just wasn't there.
That he didn't care.
I knew it at the start he'd rip it apart.
It ended as it started.
Not long at all.
Just long enough to get hurt.
All it is is bittersweet memories.
Love came, but love then was lost.
But no point in crying for him, when he doesnt care.
So the game still goes on.
And so shall I.
